Deep, not serious.
I'm a mom of three who builds things for a living and pulls a tarot card every morning. I'm not here to tell you what to do.
I spent thirty years doing everything right: the grades, the degrees, the career, the family. Then I got sick, lost the job, and figured out the rules were made up.
Now I build things designed for real capacity instead of imagined consistency, including Practical Hug, a company I co-founded with a business partner I have still never met in person.
I talk about chronic illness, motherhood, shame, showing up, and community the way I write: deep, not serious. I am not an inspiration and I will not tell you what to do.
I pull a tarot card every day... to think, not to predict.
What I make
Work with me
I picked communication as my college major because I love to talk. I was born to yap. Learning design one hour, chronic illness and shame the next, and I go deep without slipping into jargon or performance mode. My inbox is open.
Chronic illness, motherhood, showing up, community, shame, systems for real lives, learning design, tarot for skeptics, honest communication.
I love working with people and brands that align with my values. If you think that's you, let's chat.
Instructional design, learning systems, documentation. Portfolio, case studies, and resume live at work.laceytomlinson.com.
